Danielle Zoé Rivera

Assistant professor of environmental design

I am an Assistant Professor of Environmental Design at the University of Colorado at Boulder. My research focuses on urban planning, community development and organizing, and Latinx communities. I hold a PhD in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan, a Master in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University. My current research comparatively examines community organizing for social and environmental justice along the U.S./Mexico border and in Puerto Rico.
